Any F8X M3's or M4 owners in the SF Peninsula?

In particular, Foster City or San Mateo area? I seen a few around- was just wondering if I could take a look under your front bumper to see if there's any interest for me making custom skid plates for your bumpers

PM me if anyone can meet up for a few mins

How effective are those at reducing bumper scratches? I like the idea, but I'm not convinced yet.

Do you need a car to model?

Saved my bumper...the skid plate worked imo.

i then took some sandpaper and sanded off the frays- good as new.

Yup, need to take a look under your car.

My M4 hasn't arrived yet, but I am quite interested in these. If you are looking for a poll of potential buyers count me in. If you still need a model to fit them in late May, PM me. I'm down in the South Bay, but would be happy to meet up.

Do you have some to sell and ship? Will you be able to make em fit over aftermarket lips?

Sounds like a great idea, I've always wondered if there was a cheap "disposable" front lip for this purpose. I think if the skid plate was polished to a gloss black, (and could be sanded and repolished whenever it got scratched), that might look pretty nice.

I got a nasty gash on the bottom of my bumper just a few weeks after getting the car, really low dip in a dark unfamiliar parking lot =(

If you still need something to look at you want to take a look at I'm at RWC.

Do you have any more pics of your setup? Very curious to see what it looks like.

I'm hoping to do something similar for your F8X M3 and M4's

Yes, it is black and yes they can be sanded down to remove the scrapes. Just take a look at my threads for the quality
