2003 3.0 transmission fluid change
Just got back from the dealer where I was informed that the trans fluid filter is $150 and fluid is only sold in 20 liter $500 increments. Anyone have advice? Anything to be aware of when draining, re sealing the pan and refilling?

I just had my transmission fluid changed this week. I got the fluid from the dealer and then have an indy shop do the change. |

If you are handy and have access to a lift this is a straight forward DIY. If not, technically you can use a non OEM fluid. Have done this on multiple cars with success.
