My new VMR V810's in Bronze Burst - spring project!
This week probably marked the biggest transformation this car has seen at once in...well...ever. As many know, I cracked my year old M-Sport front bumper this winter sliding into a snowbank in my driveway. While I was really bummed to have to replace such a new bumper so soon, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I got to address a lot of other things on my to-do list. In addition to a new M-Sport front bumper, I took this as an opportunity to respray the hood as well, reviving a prominent part of the car that had become quite tired and beat up over 6 yrs of driving. I couldn't stop at the front though...an OEM BMW Performance rear diffusor replaced the M-Sport trim for a more aggressive look. With the body work addressed, it was time to refresh the car's stance. Over the winter, I opted to order a set of staggered 19" VMR V810 wheels powder coated in their custom Bronze Burst color. I was really nervous about the color because it was so out of character for me. Subtle and aggressive at the same time depending on lighting, I can't express how ecstatic I am at how great the color plays on black paint. The stance and overall look of the car is completely transformed! While I was intent on staying with Continental as my tire of choice, in the end I just couldn't resist the lure of those sticky Michelin PSS tires. Sized in 235/35/19 & 265/30/19 these tires wrap the VMR's perfectly and are sure to provide thousands of miles of smile-inducing driving pleasure! To top off this year's project, a stud conversion kit from Motorsport Hardware was installed with Black Titan nuts. Overall, I could not be happier with the result!

Looks awesome. The car has a very nice stance. How's ride quality on the 19's?
