What is a good going rate for the PE Mod?

Wondering what a fair price on this job would be? With and without doing new 3.5 inch tips.

I got mine done a month or two ago, and definitely happy with it. $225 in labor, $60 for the tips, and $100 for the x-pipe (I splurged for the Magnaflow one based on reviews of internal restrictions in cheap knockoffs).

Well I had a catless DP on when I had it done; sounded great.

I've had it off for a few months because the car has had a bunch of warranty issues, and the sound is pretty weak without that dp.

So if you're catless, go for it. If not, just buy a catback or start looking into catless downpipes.

Never heard a PE in person, but you can find video clips of PE, stock, and PE-mod on the interwebs fairly easily. I think it sounds pretty close, and I enjoy the sound. The only thing I don't like now is cold starts; they are OBNOXIOUS! After 10-20 seconds it shuts up though, and then everything is nice. It's only loud when you push the loud button.

Yea I know I've listened a lot. It's hard to get a real feel for it through the good old interweb.

I actually like the cold start sound.
