Cabin air filter change? AC smells like vinegar
I've had my car for 1.5 years and I don't think the cabin air filter has ever been changed at the dealership. Now with the warm temps, I have a vinegar smell when turning on the AC early on in a drive. I can't see an item for air filters in the service menu in the car... So my question is, how would a BMW customer know when it's time to go into the dealership for a filter change? Since maintenance schedules are a thing of the past...

They did my cabin filter this year for the 2 year service. My air filter doesn't have a lot of miles on it so it's still really clean...
EDIT - Wow, nice ninja edit. I guess the first part of my response still applies. |
