OT Jaguar XE & F Type Test Drives booked

I was supposed to have sorted these test drives out by now, however work got in the way.

So weekend of 30/31 May have test drives with XE and FType.

They don't have an XE S available, so will be an XE R and F Type S.

Admittedly it's a sportbrake XE S I would be most interested in.

They are apparently also bringing out an XE coupe.

It's likely to be a day with each, however I fancy weekend with both - his n hers sort of lol.

It would have been this weekend, however have shooting comp and holiday next week.

I'll enjoy your feedback on them. Have fun.

The XE looks like it could be a very good driver. The suspension setup looks very well implemented indeed. When they bring out a coupe I'll be having a very good look at it.

Very different cars of course but F Type for me every time, beautiful car, maybe for me the most attractive in production today.

Be very interested on your thoughts on the XE. I'd have an F Type in a heart beat if I had the money....!

Yeah I think a coupe (FType suspension) XE aluminium chassis with that 3.0 V6 engine would be sweet.

The XE will be the 2.0 Petrol, have said want the 240 version rather than 200.

The F Type likely to be the 3.0 rather than the 5.0 lol.

Will be atleast an A5 trip in the 330 and then in both of them.

Im tempted by the XE 240 also, i read that the petrols will initially be ford engines then change to the jaguar ones with longer service intervals later in the year

None of the Jag saloons float my boat. If a saloon does not look like an F30, then I am not interested. BMW have nailed it perfectly with the shape of the F30. To my eyes its proportions are perfect. Maybe I am being too biased.

Hearses are a different matter. All three Premium German marques make rather attractive ones IMO.
