and have the counter weight for the 6 inch pad. I noticed when I took the 5 weight off it had a groove on the bottom that fit over this little rubber rail. The 6 weight doesnt have the groove and sits on their awkward. Do I just tighten the weight down on top of this thing?

here is the stock 5 weight, notice the groove on the weight, notice the piece of rubber on the PC where the grove sits


Now notice the 6 weight, no grove so it sits on top of this piece of rubber, not flush at all

lifo, your fine w/ the 6" counter weight you have, that's how all of ours seem to be. What I did notice is you have to tighten it down very tight otherwise there will be a little play there because of the rubber thing. When it's tight, it's how it is supposed to be, no play, and it helps cut down the vibrations.

that's how mine looks and I got it from Detailed Image. I've had no problems with it.
