Please help identify screw

I was doing a lot of work in and around engine bay recently, including walnut carbon blasting, valve cover gasket, radiator cleaning. There is this one screw I could not find where it supposed to go. It's fairly big self-tapping screw approx. M6.3x25 with 11mm head - see pic. I checked every inch of engine bay, looked it up online (ETK) without success.
Please help!

Honestly that screw could be from anywhere.

Can you tell us the vicinity where you found it (other than the belly pan, which would be rather useless)?

It looks like a metric bolt from the air cabin filter cover or something, but those are typically black.

Also, does the head of the bolt have any imprint of a letter and number on it? Like this?

That's the thing, I have no idea where it came from. I could not tell you even the vicinity. It has fairly unusual 11 mm head, and it's big being M6x25. All cabin filter screws are either 8 or 10 mm heads. There are no imprint or marks of any kind on it.

That's the worst man.

I mean, it's a long-shot, but you could stop by a parts department at a BMW dealer and ask them.

Perhaps they might have a schematic that shows the different kinds of screws and where they're from?

This is the screw that bolts the engine to the chassis.

It one of the 6 screws that ataches the upper cabin air filter housing to the lower part of the housing.

Yep, originals are small and black, replacements look exactly like that one pictured.

The fact that its self tapping narrows it down quite a bit.

I've only found one 11mm bolt on the E90 and it was the intake manifold. I just found it yesterday and the hunt through my tool box for an 11mm socket is still fresh in my mind. The socket set I normally use doesn't even have an 11mm because they are so rarely used.

If you do find what it goes to that bolt looks worn out and may need replaced anyway.

Looks like it's "sheet metal screw ST6,3x25". But none of these used in E9X body!
