Squeaky Centre console

It's just starting on mine, I noted it today while doing some local driving and it is driving me bonkers! It may have been there before but today it got my attention, seems to be the joint between the piano black Idrive section and the main casing.

Any quick fixes or known fixes for this?

The funny thing is, when I bought the car and coming from an E90, it was one of the things that stood out to be cheap and not as well finished to the one that was fitted in the E90.

Found a fix...order some tape for it.

Try Vaseline, smear it along the joint.

no doubt Andy will tell you why, however I don't really advise that, it's bound to ruin some class gear

Oh I didn't know the range of KY was graded!
