Tire Pressure
I have a 2011 328x. The factory tire pressure sticker in the door jam says 32 PSI front 36 rear for the original conti tires.
Next to the sticker that says 32 and 36 is another yellow sticker that say 35 PSI in front and 41 in the rear tires. I have never seen a car with 2 different PSI recommendations. What is the general consensus here for front and rear tire pressure ? Thanks |

If you look in your manual you will find a page that shows tire pressures for over 100MPH loaded and unloaded and you will find tire pressures for under 100MPH loaded and unloaded. Tire pressure changes by weight (signal driver -v- driver/passengers and luggage - lets not forget the dog, then traveling speed and tire rating. If you can't find it when I get to the house I will put it in a pdf and attach it.

I usually go buy the door jam but was wondering if they added the 2nd sticker with the increases pressure later.
If that's the case the owners manual probably wouldn't have the new PSI. I just find it odd as both PSI stickers are from BMW but the 2nd may have been added at the dealer for some reason 41 PSI cold seems very high to me |

32/36 psi F/R (what you see on the first sticker) is recommended pressures for up to 100 mph/160 km/h for 16 and 17" fitments 35/41 psi F/R (what you see on the second yellow sticker) is recommended pressures for for speeds exceeding 100 mph/160 km/h for 16 and 17" fitments If you have run flat tires I would use the lower (sub 100 mph) pressures as a starting point. The comfort really drops off as you add more pressure especially if roads in your area are not in the greatest condition, and no one in the US/Canada is driving (sustained) speeds of 100 mph or greater on public roads. How that second sticker got there is a bit of a mystery though as mine does not have it. Did you do Euro delivery by chance? |

PDF attached, other than HP and a GM trans, not much difference in the 325 and 328.

The writing is so small ( pic is enlarged) I didn't see where it said over 100 MPH on the yellow sticker until I looked closely last night. Thanks for all the help |
