Different M Steering Wheel Suppliers
(First of all...got my X5M...love it!)
X5M vs M4 vs M6 All with same exact look but the quality and thickness of the leather on the M6 steering wheel is better. The X5M's is just like the M4's, more synthetic feeling. Any thoughts or have any of you noticed this? Thanks. Mark

Agreed. Now that you mention it, I see what you are saying here. My m6 steering wheel is very soft / natural feeling whereas my x5m has a more dry/synthetic feel to it. Different supplier I suppose.

Is it the normal routine that M6 owners will go for X5M/X6M?
 I visited the dealer yesterday and was thinking about the X6M  Now I see you two guys the same... Anyways, I agree about the superiority of M6 steering wheel, but I loved the interior of X6M.

I have a Meisterschaft exhaust on my M5. Ive had it for a while so i cant compare the 2 but I do agree with how good the X sounds. I dont feel the need to run out and get an exhaust whereas I couldnt wait to do so on the M5.
