Is it worth paying BMW to update DME

Haven't updated it since 2010, wondering if you guys think it might be worth while to pay bmw to do this..

Car is a 2008 e93..

One thing Ive noticed is "occasionally" it seems like one turbo doesn't want to kick in right when it should, thought maybe this could rid me of tiny things they've corrected over the years

I also have a 2008 e93 but why do you want to update the DME? Are you talking about a hardware update or a software update?
