I technically beat you there.

28 years married and no honeymoon, as was deployed short notice the day after our wedding!

It took another 5 years to get a holiday in.

Still not been forgiven lol.

Everytime I have to go abroad for work she digs at me with

"Its not fair, you have been everywhere and I have to stay home with the kids while you get to go and have another holiday paid for by your work."

If only she knew what mayhem it can turn into when you have so much to do in such short time in sometimes alien territory.

She would probably throw the same line at me if I was in the army and was being sent to my potential death in a war zone.

At least you and your Mrs have been abroad together pal. Due to working commitments and having kids we still have not managed to squeeze a holiday in yet.
I joke with her that we will do a honeymoon once the kids are old enough to stay home alone. Unfortunately the joke seems to have become a reality. If things go according to my five year plan then it may be a very long time indeed before she gets a honeymoon.

Sorry it's raining, nice and sunny here in manchester

Tis a nuisance, only work from home on thursday's, and Monaco is the only GP with practice on a thursday, so only chance to get to watch practice live and it's bloody raining so no cars out...at least P1 was dry
