Should I complain to the dealership?
So long story short, my car has been at the dealership for the past two weeks after getting a P112 code fixed for the fourth time. I'm out of warranty and after talking to the service manager, he agreed to fix it under warranty since they didnt fix it the other 3 times. This time their solution was new cylinder heads and 22hrs of labour.... so a huge bill if i had to pay for it myself
when i got my car back today i saw that they broke the ecu plug off (attached photo) and while driving i heard the most annoying high pitch noise constantly... with a little bit of research i found out that someone golf tee'd my car and didnt plug the vaccum hose back in (my car has never been golf tee'd) would you say something? |

Those bastards broke my OBD2 connector as well! Fixed it myself though. Yeah complain and tell them off. I noticed about 1 year later when I needed to go for emissions.

You as a consumer and someone who helps pay their bills by being a patron have EVERY right to sound off. Talk to the owner of that dealership and let 'em know what's up, then go find a decent indie and/or a better BMW dealership. They're out there man.

I bet someone took it home or to lunch and put a Cobb on it and golf tee'd it. Got out and forgot to remove it and kicked it and broke yours. And they just plain forgot to take the golf tee off.

That sucks. Absolutely. You should complaint. Whether they you pay for the repair or they fix it under warranty (i.e. BMW is paying the dealer) they should no damage your car.
