E90 Current Owners
Greetings E90Post!
I have a question for current E90 335i owners. My question is how is trunk space? I have a 5 month year old and was wondering if space is reasonable. If I am not mistaken most come with 60/40 split which I do need but also wondering about space wise. I had a E92 and from what I remember space was definitely reasonable. Just want to hear from you guys with experience in the whole fatherhood and being able to pack all that crap in there. Thank you! |

I'm not a father so I don't know what fatherly thing you are required to put in the trunk but space is pretty good. Not the biggest I've seen from a sedan but still plenty. The 60/40 seats also help a lot

Thats what makes it all better for me is the 60/40 seats. I mean even if the trunk space wasn't the greatest I would be able to hold the seats down if needed.

I would love an other coupe but after experiencing the whole 4 door situation I wouldn't go back unless I'll have 2 cars. It just a PITA when people sit back there and have to get out. Usually I don't have no one in the back but when I do its just eh I wouldn't want to bother.

When I had my mustang I didn't think it was a big deal. But having a sedan now even though I hardly use the back seats, I would never get a coupe again unless it was a second car. Personal opinion though of course |

EXACTLY what I needed. I have the Uppababy stroller and when I go to Target I need space. Diaper bag is usually up front but exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you very much!

I doubt I'll do long trips with anyone in the back and even so I'll just use the families truck lol |

I fit the Bob in there just fine.
Trunk is generous for a midsize sports sedan. Able to pack up wife, 5 month old and dog for long weekend trips without much problem.

Went to Costco today and got two full carts (normal size, not the pallet sized huge ones). Had a teenager in the 40 backseat and the 60 was folded down, everything fit just fine!! Fold down seats, I may never live without them again!

The trunk fits my bulky stroller and some groceries with no problem. The backseat holds my Recaro baby seat perfectly (LATCH equipped) and rear airbags are a safety plus. Great family car whether it's a coupe (my preference) or sedan.

No children here, but I do know my e90 had a dent (still kinda does) in the back seat from a child's seat. If your e92 was good with space, to your standards, I can't imagine the e90 would be anything but better!

I have an E92 and my wife has an E90. Sure, it's easier to get the car seat in and out of her car, but that's just temporary. Plus, I don't sit in the back of my car and neither does my wife so if people have problems getting in and out of my back seat, they can feel free to drive themselves. It's plenty of room for kids. As for the E90's, 60/40 fold down seats were an option. My wife's car is pretty loaded and she still doesn't have fold down seats while it was standard in all E92s. Our strollers fit fine in the trunk of the E90 as well.

Not a dad, but you can fit a TON of shit in the E90 trunk if you need to.

FYI, most actually do NOT have the 60/40 folding seat option.
Look for a car with the Cold Weather package to get them. It was also available as an a-la-carte option without the ZCW package but hard to find a car with it.
