F30 335i Newbie Build More Pics Just Added! 1/24/2017

Hi everyone, names Alan, after modding JDM cars all the way thru my 20s, I'm glad to to give the EURO cars a try! So 2 months ago I picked up a 2013 F30 335i in ALPINE WHITE used.

I didn't really like it too much but my wife has always wanted a bimmer so to make her happy I told her we can get one longest I get to mod it. So it begins..

I get pretty hands on in my builds and that's part of the fun in it. I wasn't really feeling the wood grain dash and buying CF parts get pretty expensive not to mention its a bit to shiny under the sun so I decided to wrap them with some CF wrap.

It took me 4 hours including waiting for the epoxy to harden, but was all worth it! I must of spent 20 mins trying to unplug the clips and putting them back on LMAO!

Here are some other small mods

Wheels and coilovers are next! on the list are Vorsteiner VFF 103 Mercury black 19" and KW V1 coilovers.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated and Ill post more mods as I go along. Thanks!

I don't think he took it off, it looks like it's a black decal straight over the top of the OEM badge.

Debadging is easy. I used a hairdryer and some floss to remove the badge. Any remaining adhesive can just be "rolled" off.

Looking good! When I saw JDM I was worried I was going to see a stock car get slammed, this is pleasantly the opposite.

Looks like you've got some skills with that CF!

I did take it off, the matte black emblem is a direct replacement.

Hair dryer and dental floss or fishing line works wonders.
