That would a proper mickey take

Do they not have to contact you first??

Makes you wonder how many are of them are of the well I've got a certificate now so I can use that if I have a knock or stopped by the police and I've got some of my money back school of thought !!!

Similar to those that buy insurance on monthlies and then stop paying as they've got a certificate !!!

To be fair its been years since the cancelling insurance on monthlies trick would have been effective given the introduction of ANPR cameras and the linking to insurance databases since 2005/6.
