Hello to e90post

In January I picked up a CPO 2011 328i xDrive with 8800 miles. Blue Water Metallic with Oyster/Black on the inside.

I'm loving it so far. I swapped out the chrome grills for flat black because I like the look.

I noticed today that the driver's door handle has more play in it than I think it should. More than the other doors. I can wiggle it up and down and it feels loose. If I pop the door panel off is it just a screw or two to tighten up?

The stereo has some features I can't glean from the manual. There are three sets of FM presets, 1-6, 7-12 and A1-A6 -- what are the A1-A6 for? What do the signal strength bars measure? The strength of signal for the BMW connect service or something?

I've already ordered all the supplies for my first oil change. I assume they changed it for the CPO, the CBS says I'm 8000 miles away now from the next service. So I'm doing my own change at the halfway point. Should I put in a new air filter too? It'll be at 15000 miles.

I'm intrigued by a whole host of upgrades. I should probably leave well enough alone but the urge to tinker is strong. I want:
  • New wheels and tires (Kosei k4r with Michelin PSS).
  • A tune or a powerbox? I'd like to have better throttle response.
  • BMW PI and PE -- kind of pricey though.
  • Cyba's air scoops with a charcoal filter delete.
  • BavSound Stage One drivers and/or a JL Audio XD600/6 amp (with Technic's harness.
  • LED Angel eyes.

Welcome i suggest you start with a power box ( for increased throttle response ) and an Active Autowerke exhaust for a better exhaust tone.

Unless you are planning on getting headers and other performance mods on your car, the PBX should be enough.
If not then get the AA flash

PI and PE are a waste of money.

If I were you -

Apex Arc8 or ERC 7 with good tires (are you in a state that sees snow? If not summer tires will work fine)
AA tune
AFE SI intake OR Dinan intake. You can do Cyba
And think long and hars about anything else from there

It's a N52, so no 3 stage intake. The CPO warranty lasts till Dec 2017 so nothing major until then.

What do you consider major

Major would be anything that would mess with the warranty or costs too much. Say more than $500 or $600 USD.
