Whats included in regular BMW maintenance?
Searched the boards a bit and found this little tidbit:
Basic service is only oil change, so only oil, filter & oil pan drain plug is required for the first. Every 2nd service the cabin microfilter is called for. Every 3rd the engine air cleaner. Every 5th the manual transmission oil and differential oil. Every 6th replace the spark plugs. Wiper blades are typically replaced every year and brake fluid is every 2 years. Brakes will be as required. Do we have any more information on whats involved during a regular service? How about iDrive and mapping updates? Is that part of standard procedure or will i need to specifically request for them to check on that? |

Maintenance covers everything, but your tires. Software updates are push per as needed basis.
