Turbofan oil leak

Hello everyone!
I changed my CV boot yesterday and the mechanic told me I have a turbofan oil leak. The car drives just fine. How serious of a problem is this? It will cost alot to fix it.
Thanks.

If you have a turbofan in your car, you must really cruise on the highway.

All joking aside, he probably actually said turbocharger oil leak. I'm not super up on N54 repair and maintenance, but I think oil leaks are generally fixed by replacing the turbo, which is expensive as balls. Someone please correct me on that. EDIT: Unless it's just an external hose leaking, which would be pretty easy and cheap to fix.

It's the oil feed lines that are prone to leak. Easy fix.

The mechanic must have meant that the Turbo Encabulator must be leaking. Quite common. Diagnosis is very easy if you have a DRB2 simply connect it to the aft end of the moxie interruptor and it should show a simple head code.

(Diagnosis starts at 1:57)

Yea?

I have leak originating from directly above down pipes. While I can't tell 100% from underneath it looks like coming from turbo area
