First time at the track with the e93 I'm happy

Hey Guys

So I took my car to the drag strip for the first time today and I ran a 13.6 with a 2.0 sixty foot. U know I can get a 1.8 sixty foot and that would tell me the car has a 13.4 run in it. Pretty impressed with a heavy e93. Mods are jb4 on auto tune intercooler and BMS cones with 94 gas

I can't Waite to put the downpipes on

Actually, it's more like a two for one, for every tenth you shave off your 60-foot time will result in an approximate two tenth reduction in your elapse time. A 2.0 60-foot time is very respectable by the way.

How did you get away with that?

I didn't think they allowed us on the track...at least not around my way.

Besides, don't you have to put like a roll cage in and all that other fun stuff? I'm always imagining I'll be like a Sherman tank out there with all this extra weight LOL

Well I went to a track in Quebec the rules are lax, but I don't think there is an issue with running a convertible at the track. Hell when I had my vette I raced another convertible vette and he had the top down. He was running low 12s. I think the roll cage is only needed if you run under 10 seconds etc not sure
