I actually DID figure that out by accident while I was changing my dash trim to wood:
1- Pop the driver side cup holder open 2- You see a screw in the lower right corner if I am not wrong. Take that out 3- Take out the other screw that's holding the piece in at the upper left (?) corner of the air vent (under a small plastic cap that comes off easily) 4- Pull out the vent+cup holder piece 5- Now you should be able to see the left side of the trim piece between the cup holder and the steering column that sorrounds the light switch center. It's basically held in place by a clip so you should just tug/pull and maybe push a bit with a flathead screwdriver inserted between the trim piece and dash (be careful not to scratch the trim piece) 6- Once the trim comes off, you should be able to unscrew the light switch and pull it out. This is based on what I REMEMBER from when I changed the trim. You can use this thread (it's in Italian) to get an idea (see pics in steps 1 & 6) |
