New Drive to work..

So, just moved house to be nearer to work. Instead of an hourcommute with a fair chunk of motorway , I now have a slightly less than half hour nearly all on national speedl limit country lanes.

The drive this morbing was a blast..great fun for the most part (although a couple of rather nasty narrow poorly sighted corners)

Mpg came at 25 for the journey though in my 330d

Oops.

Yep. Twisties get me every time.

Even so, I dont think I seen 25mpg yet. Towing got me close to 33mpg.

Need to try harder obviously

'Best' I have had on a decent run is 29mpg for a trip up to Anglesey from home.

Although looking at my Connected drive App - My Trips.

While they are a lot of 45mpg and 50's mpg.

I have a high number of 30 - 50 mile trips at about 34mpg - mainly due to M6 Toll and back roads.

Car will be getting a rest in the week from next week, using bike and away a fair bit.

My drive to work is about 3 miles

Mileage now 8261 miles with 520+ Miles from last tank full.

You can poke off with the running, mountain bike yes, just not when it's dark, too many mugging and bike 'jacks'.

Unfortunately, I sometimes have to drive out to places at short notice, so usually need the car.

Can be a pain, biking in, then needing a lift home to get car, drive to place X then back to work and put bike in the back.

Lol missed the off.

Rarely serious.

I would run and may on a Friday, have to get showers at work sorted though - it is Wolverhampton after all.

.

You do know there's more than 1/2 inch travel in the right pedal don't you?

I would check under it for an obstruction
