Cracked Clear Coat on CF Spoiler

Hey guys, believe it or not going through the brutal winter that we had, caused my high kick carbon spoiler to crack and chip the clear coat. Anyone how to fix this?

Is that an aftermarket spoiler? I only ask cause I have both oem and aftermarket carbon fiber pieces. After the winter I see peeling on my aftermarket pieces, but my oem parts look as good as new.

you may have to buy some resin and apply it to the exposed area and blend into the surrounding area. Then start sanding and buffing until it is all blended in and clear coat it.

do some googling for how to apply/blend the resin in with the surrounding area.

here is a pretty good video

google Carbon Fiber Gel Coat Repair and you will find some DIYs and places to get the materials. Lots of info on these type of repairs can be found on Boating/Surfing forums as well.

I may end up trying that repair on my carbon pieces before just taking them off and throwing them away. I'll let you guys know how the repair goes.
