Need my shadowline vinyl wrapped - Miami/Hialeah, FL. Area
Anyone know where I can take my 2008 335i Coupe to have the shadowline wrapped in vinyl?
I've read too many horror stories of ppl trying this themselves. I've decided that I'd rather have this done by a professional, or by someone that has experience with successful wraps. Paying close to $1000 for shadowline trim is insane IMHO, so i'm not going that route; i've got better mods to get with that kinda money : ) I might try checking one of those U-pick scrap yards too, for a 335i with the black trim, but I doubt i'd find a 335i there in decent shape to get these kinds of parts from it, and if there is one, it's probably already stripped down to the core already. Anyway, if you guys know of anyone in the Miami or Hialeah areas that can do this for me, please let me know. Thanks guys! |

You should be able to find it in an auto parts store, I think it's this stuff http://www.amazon.com/Trimbrite-T900...dp/B00029XD62/
I'm using some 3M vinyl tape for mine, we'll see how it comes out. |

I can try Plasti Dip, but for some reason, when I plasti-dipped my front bumper grill, it came out a bit grainy. Hard to tell from far, but close up you can tell. For that reason, I'm kinda resisting plasti-dipping anything else. |

You guys might also want to check out these sites. They make it look sooo easy. Maybe I'll buy a roll and try it myself.
The first link is for the site that sells the vinyl trim: http://shadowlinetrim.com/ The second link is for the DIY PDF: http://www.shadowlinetrim.com/images/ShadowlineDIY.pdf |
