Will a new car suspension get lower after breaking it in

Just curious if the car will get lower after being driven for awhile? Or has the suspension and springs come pre-settled already from the factory upon completion?

I actually waited for responses... Ha. My lip is so low I always almost scrape. If it gets even a half inch lower in done.

Only time you would notice any settling or change is if you put new springs on they would settle a smidge

It'll settle, but you won't get any kind of noticeable drop when it settles, if it hasn't already

It will, but only by a slight amount over a very long time.

Will a new (car suspension) get lower after breaking it in? Yes.

Will a (new car) suspension get lower after breaking it in? No.

It's the weight of the car compressing new springs that make it lower. Unless your new car was somehow built yesterday it has more than likely settled by the time you take delivery.

Trust me they do, this is how I discovered JB Weld after my VW R32 lowered itself by half an inch at about 3000 mi, just enough to stop clearing the parking stop at the post office, the spoiler split, OMG the noise.

No discernable amount. Perhaps you're thinking of letting the suspension settle after jacking/lowering a car?
