Detailing Perfection ™:2001 MB S420

Detailing Perfection ™:

I just picked up a costumers BM S420 for a quck wash and complete interior detail. The costumer was not too worried about the outside, because she is waiting for paint correct in a month from me. I just sprayed a new product I found call "quick shine" to get a bit of a pop out of the paint.

The interior was pretty dirty and took most of my time. I had to de-grease the floor matts and sprayed quite a bit of fade to black to get the shine back.

Overall the costumer was very happy. She could not believe it was the same car, and said the interior is like new.

Sorry about the pics, I am trying to get the hang of taking pictures to truly show the difference.. Work in progress

Ceramiclear is the new clear coating technology employed by Mercedes Benz. Supposedly, it reduces the amount of swirling and marring of the clear coat and is more chip resistant. You can tell if the car has ceramiclear or not by reading the VIN label. If the color code of the vehicle is XXXA, e.g. 040A for black, or 197A for obsidian black metallic, that means the car has Ceramiclear

I'm jealous of all you guys with CA and FL weather, but awesome work. Fminus, thats an 01 so it shouldn't have the ceramic clear, my parents have an 01 s500 and its regular paint, I believe ceramci clear started in 03. It's awesome if kept up with care.
