yo wuufer
i have the gruppe m rep intake, and it used the k&n cone air filter, so im assuming its the same one
i dont know how it is with the stock one, but im assuming u just remove the old filter and then replace it with the k&n? shudnt be too hard... i think ur getting confused with ppl cutting out their 'charcoal filter' in their stock intakes to get more "power and better sound or w.e."...

i installed my own intake and it was fairly easy. and im sure if u take it to stett, chad will do it for cheap, cuz its a really quick n easy thing.
lemme kno if u stil need help tho
