New Stuff at CG
Citrus Wash and Clear
smells just like citrus wash and gloss...only difference it is CLEAR...no floating yellow glossing agent...its the surfactant only...so I am guessing it is all cleaning power...should be strong stuff in high concentrations and I already shot it out of the foam cannon for fun and it foams like CRAZY...should be fun to see how it compares to their halo product.... Pad Cleaner... Green Clay looks like they got the popular "sonus" green clay in...very moldable and a very gentle clay that many swear by...now available at CG!!! Wet sanding block... Very interesting and SMART product...basically a soft foam block that wet sanding paper with an adhesive back sticks to...but the foam block and paper are both water permeable....what I liked most about it is the paper is very flexible and so is the block so it would definitely be very easy to sand curved panels without the fear of knocking of to much paint in the high spots...i believe the grits were 1500 and 2500 |

L R G,
I tried checking ADS and they were actually more expensive there http://autodetailingsolutions.com/Meguiar's%20Detailer%20Sprayers.htm You could always buy a .99 funnel.

Ya, im stright of 2.99 for something that I would need 20 of. $60 is too steep for something that just saves a bit of time and does nothing else. I have some free tips I got from CG that work just fine.

yeah i was a bit turned off on the price as well. I was thinking they would be 0.50 - 1.00 each. I just thought i could put them on a higher shelf with the spouts. instead of much needed lower ones. I figured this would be a common tool, not just for car detailers, but i can't find any like it in the US. I found a few they were selling in the UK, or were a supplier.

They are pricey but IMO they are worth it. I always wait for the 15% off coupons and then stock up. I order 50 at a time |

I spent 2 hours on the CG website last night, so many things on there I want to buy. I did get their 52 wax, leather interior scent, and a few other things.
How is JetSeal? It sounds like its a strong sealant, i'm looking for something on my wheels. I have jeff's Acrylic Jett and Klasse. Should I get something else?

Jetseal is like jet trigger but it looks more like a carnuba shine. It goes on and
off easier. It successfully defended my paint from bird crap etching, which is a first for me.

My pops has a power washer that he uses for the roof - is there something I can add on so it can spray this type of product or is that a different machine altogether?
I'm not looking to get into the detailing business, but it would make it a heck of a lot easier when I drive back home and do a full (wash, clay, wax) on the ride |

I am trying to start a CG kit for my car.. got about 100 dollars to spend, was wondering what product i should get in term of maintaining the car? I already have wash mitt, megiur car wash soap, tireshine, interior cleaner... bascially just wondering what you suggest in terms of car clay, and a finish.. (i still donno if i should use a sealant, glaze or wax.. )

Does anyone know how much you dilute the CWG for
1. stripping off your wax? 2. regular maintenance washes where you want to preserve your LSP? I read in previous posts that depending on the dilution ratio you could alter how the CWG worked. Or would it be better just to order maxi-suds for maintenance? CWG when then be used just for prepolish washes. Thanks for the help.

Personally I only use citrus wash for pre-detail cars. You can dilute it enough so it would not strip wax I am sure, but I use Poorboys SSS, mixed with gold glass and CG maxi suds for maintenance washes! Last edited by oneshare325; 02-25-2008 at 12:14 AM.. |

My suggestion is to pick up CWG and MS instead. Use CWC when you are going to strip a car before a detail. |
