mustang convertible

I have a '16 228i convertible already ordered, but am stuck at ford dealer this morning - focus st lost turbo boost.

Drove the 2.3 turbo mustang convertible. Similar acceleration and ride (18" wheels). The interior looks average to me though. The cloth seats are a plus to me. My '13 focus seems nicer. The big problem is space though. I am 5'9", 31" inseam and moved both front seats far enough forward to barely be comfortable. I absolutely cannot get my size 9 feet to the floorboard. I did this same test in the 2 series without issue. I think the mustang is the size of a 4 series, and the trunk is not large either. The top does not hide. There are two sq ft plastic panels that have to be snapped in place to hide the arms. The mustang is priced right on top of the 228i and is nice enough now to compare imo.

your post confuses me, Are you comparing it or are you bashing it?

IMO there is absolutely NO comparison...

BTW the new mustang should be called the "Taurus Coupe"

True that.. New mustang is 14inches longer than my 228. Thing wouldn't even fit in my garage.

Not bashing, but I was just surprised by the size, but yet no leg room advantage. I have twin 5 yr old, so my car needs to work for occasional kid duty. I looked later and the trunk dies have a spare, so that explains the similar trunk volume. I imagine a 5.0 V8 should be similar length to a 3.0 I6.

He may have meant to say "Fusion Coupe", since the new 'Stang does resemble the Fusion quite a bit.

It was the hpfp on the focus st. I was able to continue driving on the low pressure pump with about 1/4 power - which was interesting.
