Audi one-upped's BMW
Why couldn't of BMW come with cool colors for the m235i? Too busy coming up with new tech stuff instead of the basics?
Will they respond? http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...ve-new-colors/ |

At almost $60k for one of those hideous colors I'll take a Marina Blue M3 instead. End of the day it's still an S3. I'd like more color choices as well on the 235 but not the way Audi's doing it.

Audi does some nice things. The new TT is going to be awesome. Never driven a Quattro car so dont know how it would handle. The new interior is just sublime and the tech as well. Of course you have to pay for it. The 2016 TT is considetably more expensive than my 2er. I dont know if BMW will ever have a nice interior. Its like they are not interested. Those are some cool and different colors.

I just cannot get over the hideous Audi styling. Aside from the TTRS and R8 I don't think there's a single other current Audi that looks good. These colors aren't really doing them any favors.

The only one I'd do would be Misano Red or Brilliant Red, I like those. Everything else - seems like all BMW would have to do would be to open up the 2'er to the Individual Color Program.

I shutter to think how they are going to ruin arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever made, the A/S/RS 5. Audi has always been a subtle car company but man did the pendulum swing in the wrong direction...80s are calling, they want their cars back I always liked audis, Dad had 2 of them...I think audi may have a rude awakening with these new cars. The last decade they have ridden on the coatails of the success of the R8 and the A5...With this new crap I feel they shot them selves in the foot. Just my opinion...

Eye of the beholder...I love the 2016 TT. I spent under 40000 for my BMW so I cant complain too much about the sorry interior but if I spent $50000 on it I would be flat out pissed at BMWs awful interior. You should expect more. The 2016 TT interior looks like a Super Car interior...BMW looks like...well a $18000 VW.

hard to say, there are some that turn out well and some that don't. The A5 is sorta ok but to my eye can look "baggy" at some angles...much better with red. The new A4 I do like. The old ones were...meh, kinda generic.

I always liked Skittles. I don't know if I'd want my car to look like one, but at least it's something different. To me, the only colors of interest _might_ be the orange or maybe the blue. I would have to see them in person. And yeah, for that coin, it should be an RS.

They only ever sell a few bright colours and it very much limits the resale of these cars. These colours also go out of fashion where as BMW's colour range is in all the time it's just the numbers sold each year, as it could be dark one year and the next year light. 2012 was white and 2014 black

Gents,
I have real respect for Audi. I took the S3 out for a spin the other day, and I can tell you with Honesty... I would have been just as happy in it, as I am in my new 228i. It's a beautiful car inside and out. The handling was insane, as was that 300HP engine. |
