Audio upgrades and warranty

I have a 2015 328i with HiFi audio system. After researching these forums, I am considering replacing the stock speakers with Bavsound Stage 1 set. The car is only a few months and I am weighing the risk with impacting the warranty and have a better music experience

Will the warranty on the electrical components be invalid if the stock speakers are replaced. Appreciate the the groups opinion on the impact to warranty.

There is no OEM warranty in aftermarket speakers obviously. And if there is a problem with your OEM amp with aftermarket speakers installed then the aftermarket speakers could be blamed for whatever it is and no warranty on the OEM amp either.

This does not mean that there will be problems with aftermarket speakers. It means that anything aftermarket in your car technically voids the warranty of the OEM part that you replaced and whatever is connected to the aftermarket part. That is the way it is in all OEM warranties for quite some time. It is in your warranty pamphlet.

In other words, hang onto your old speakers just in case.
