Car is getting a facelift

My car is at the bodyshop right now getting a front aero lip painted/installed, getting the front license plate screw holes filled, having 328 black lower mesh installed, and having the kidney grills custom painted.

The only thing really up for discussion is the kidney grills. What i'm getting done is the outter rings of the kidney grills are being etched and then painted Montego Blue to match the body. The vertical slats are being scuffed to look like brushed aluminum.

Do you all think I should have the vertical slats painted black to match the lower grills instead of having them brushed?

here is a photoshop I created off of another users car w/ the exact mods I have (I added the wheels and the lower black mesh). Only difference is my car has the light beige interior.

What do you think?

Most recent shot of mine in bad lighting for front end comparison....before rear spacers. I think I may be putting on 10mm spacers in the front.

Looks great! I think I would go with the vertical slats being painted black to match, I think that will look smoother, especially since the outer rings are matching your car's color. It's going to look great!

A family friend is the manager at O'Donnell Honda's Collision Center, he's always taken care of my custom paint work. Not really a bodyshop that is open to the public.

If I need real bodyshop work done (accident) I go to Mullinix in Ellicott City on Rt. 40. they do great work.

That would look great man, however i'd keep the kidney grills all black, show some contrast to the front of the car. The vertical slats you can't really see much if the outer part of the kidney grills is painted MB.
