go to him and either do it yourself or pay him. Any shop should be able to do it it's rather simple. But many may not want to tackle it.

Just did the same fmic last week an Never done one before, took about 3 hours. Don't know if that's slow or decent timing but really wasn't bad. I also removed the bumper cuz I didn't have access to a lift, it just made it easier. A lot of people will tell you you don't need to, but figured I'd practice for when I do replace it to something else.

bimmer72 has a shop in Allston. Great guy, quality work, better prices than anyone else I've found and he knows the N54/N55 as well as anyone you'll meet.
