Afters

Some quick shots outside with daylight. Had to pull it inside the garage since it was about to rain pretty heavy.

A few inside the garage while it rained outside.

hey joyride, quick question. how would you go about tackling swirls on the small gloss black strip which separates the front and rear windows on e92s? the strip is so small, that it would be hard to polish it with a PC...
thanks in advance.

If you're worried and do not want to polish over the glass, tape over anything you don't want polished and leave only your desired surface exposed. 3M's blue painter's tape comes as thick as 3'', so one or two strips on each side would be alright.

I have used the Blackfire SRC. Do you think its the same as Menzerna
SIP and 106FF?

Cuts the same, but requires you to slowly spread the polish and spread before you kick up the speed. If not the products cakes up on the paint really quick. I've only used them three times. First time was real bad, and by this time I kinda got the hang of how to use it.

It dusts a lot less than the Menzerna's though. Maybe its the extra oils.

What did you use on the wheel wells inside the fender? There is always so much gunk in there.

Meguiars Super Degreaser. I spray it in there once and let it dwell while I clean the wheels and tires. Then when done with the wheels and tires, I rinse everything off and hit the wheel wells again, this time agitating them with w/e brush fits in there. Then rinsed.
