Question to those who have installed a JB4, Dinan, Active8 tune.

With the increased power the car will accelerate quicker.
Does the active sound under "acceleration" increase sound in step with the increased engine speeds ? Or is the sound that you hear based on the car with the standard tune from the factory ?

I'm pretty certain tuning your car will not change the sound of your engine under any circumstances, with or without Active Sound Design.

Active Sound Design is just synthetic engine noise pumped into the cabin, nothing to do with the actual engine. The sound output is likely being based on the current tachometer position and throttle position, with that data being transferred to the ASD module connected directly to the sound system amplifier.

If you want more turbo sound get an intake, just know they are pretty loud.
