Getting H&R Sports installed in a couple days
Ill be getting my H&R sports finally installed Wednesday after weeks of finding a shop. I went to a couple shops in town and they tried telling me this would take nearly $1000 for install. Another shop quoted me $240 and then after getting the car on the lift they stated this ws beyond their skill level to install. I would have loved to tackle this as a DIY but unfortunately I dont have the tools necessary and the gf thinks ill kill myself if I get under the car and work on it haha
So, anyways, is there anything I should let the shop know about in advance? They've worked on suspension's on corvettes and camaro's before but never a new model BMW. Im going to print out some of the DIY's I found on the forums with torque specs written and show it to them. My car is a 335i sportline with the 704 m sport suspension. |

This was probably one of the easiest spring installs I've ever done. The rears take 20 min each at most. And the front is cake; you just need to be careful clearing the fender when removing the strut, 30-40 min each on the front.
