How to fix the wobble in the 335 sedan?

So Motortrend did a comparison between the 335 msport and the new Jag and noted the same issue Ive noticed

Great comparison and to be honest it makes me excited for the Jaguar, looks like an awesome car and they've been making great cars again (F-type anyone??)

I agree with Johnny, my car definitely wobbles on the way out of hard corners at high speeds, it really kills the fun.

It's rather disappointing that BMW being the Ultimate Driving Machine could totally overlook this huge issue.

Is this also an issue with the coupes?

Is there a way to fix this by adding any type of suspension mods?

Ditch the runflats first.. If you're close to happy install lowering springs; if it still feels like terrible to you then get coilovers.

Thanks s2k

Is this also an issue on the coupes or only an issue for sedans?

Wobbles???? No wonder that he comes to the conclusion when he compares a standard supension (BMW) against an adaptive suspension (Jag).

The BMW standard suspension is soft and meant for most drivers - a sort of "one softness fits most". There is a huge difference in driving the standard suspension compared to the M Adaptive suspension which I have. There is absolutely no wobble in mine and especially not in Sport+.

And yes the coupes are the same. Tried the m235i and were told to abuse it. Unfortunately it had the standard suspension which is also soft and it was really not good at all. Also tried the 435i. Same story just more comfortable compared to the m235i.

I have the adaptive suspension and I can assure you there's plenty of wobble and fore and aft wheel motion over crappy road patches exactly as the review mentions... I've already ditched the RFT's with very little improvement... now contemplating trying the Dinan Shockware with everything else stock as a first step as this will hopefully improve the dampening which is way off from the factory

Wonder if there is a difference in the setup from an European car to a US car?

In the review I do se the wobble but I have also made some videos on similiar roads where there is no wobble. The RFTs don't do that much of a difference because it will always be the softest part that dampens first. RFTs have stiffer sidewalls and when you replace them with non RFT it will just be the tires that dampens instead of the springs.

Btw my summer tires are 19" RFTs with 2.8-3.0 bar / 41-43 PSI and normally just in comfort mode. Only when playing og when it is very windy (sidewinds) i use Sport og Sport+.

Have you tried to only stiffen the chassis in Sport-mode?

I wouldn't really call it an issue. Everyones expectations are different. I think 95% of 3 series owners are happy with how it handles and feels. The other 5% gear heads will always find a fault in any car and always want better.

That being said they both have the same times and very similar suspension. Yes, my car handles much better than it was before, but now i feel every little bump in the road. I think most people would rather give up some handling for more comfort.

Problem is, every other car I've had before didn't have this issue...

This is my first german car and first new car, and its supposed to be the ultimate driving machine yet my 370z and mustang handled much better around turns and didn't have this issue????

I have noticed this on my 328 m sport. I only notice it when I am driving fast through a bend over a bumpy road.
