Thanks for sharing. That pic is pretty much the build I'm picking up in Munich in two months (sans xDrive)! I really wish they offered black or body-colored mirror caps as an option though, as I think the standard caps look even worse with the new orbit grey wheels. I'll likely be springing for black kidney grilles and black or body-colored mirror caps from IND (or maybe the M Performance CF mirror caps...).

I like the black mirrors with the black kidney grills, it goes great with the trim around the windows. It looks like you have a dark trunk spoiler in the back, is that black or carbon fiber? Where did you get it, pic? Also, nice window tint, which one did you go for and what % ? I'm making a list of mods for mine now, it is being built as I type

Thanks for sharing pics - I think I'm going with black too to pair with black grilles and the new orbit grey wheels. Body-colored caps already come with the 228, and if I get the CF caps I'll just want to get other CF bits so that the caps aren't the only CF element on the car.

Thanks man. It all came together really nicely but I had been planning it in my head for months haha. It's the M performance CF spoiler. Just got the tint done Wednesday. It's FormulaOne Pinnacle 30% all around. Looks perfect to me, not too dark but just right. Sorry if this is totally thread jacking here...

I definitely put some thought into it haha maybe too much. I didn't really because I knew I like the MP spoiler and I didn't like any of the other designs. Too busy and not clean enough for what I wanted. I would have gotten a replica possibly but I got a great deal on it from another forum member that I couldn't pass up.

Finally! Can now see how the Orbit Grey wheels look. I like them! I'm getting Estoril, I think I might get the dark wheels, then add black nostrils, and black mirror covers.

Signing my life away for the order tomorrow at 2pm, so hopefully just in time to change my mind on the wheels.

I have the black grills and mirror caps too. FYI the IND caps are BMW, not aftermarket. They have the BMW part number stamped inside. I hadn't added the spoiler yet, but after seeing that I will.
