Cleanboost Maxx (Fuel Additive)

I have watched a video in youtube about cleanboost maxx giving extra horsepower and MPG, and it made me buy the product directly.

Has anybody tried this product yet?

I tried it already, and my car suddenly feels very responsive (eco pro felt like the comfort mode before this fuel treatment) and MPG increased from 18 to 22!

Anybody has opinion regarding any potential damage from using additive like this?

This has been discussed...it's a waste of money as the valves, which would have the most benefit never get touched. The Direct Injection has so much pressure that I doubt anyone would ever really need an injection cleaner etc.
As far as extra power...one little can would be so nominal, you wouldn't see a difference on a dyno for sure.
The mind would like for these things to work...especially if we just bought them. We become more aware of all the things we never paid attention to prior to adding the little bottle, and as a result alter our driving pattern. That's just my 2cents...

Well, that is actually true. The second time I add them to my tank, I don't feel the difference anymore. Thanks, Fast!

yup and its not placebo effect. I took log to compare with 92 alone and 92+octane

second thing with AC on rpm always stays around 1rpm with 95 it's 600rpm. 92+octane it stays 600 !! these pills keeps amazing me. my guess is they work great on low grade quality than higher ones

Well, but I think the liquid version is a lot cheaper right? I only have Stage 1, so no logging lol. Do you know if its possible to log with torque pro OBD?

I have always used Red Line SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner. Red Line has the highest concentration of the critical fuel-system-cleaning compounds known as polyether amines (PEA). Its worked well in every other car I've had, im assuming it will also work well when i start using it in my F30. I would usually put a bottle in the gas tank with every oil change.

Thank you guys for all the responses! I actually used techron for the cleaning, and mainly use the cleanboost for the 'horsepower' purpose. I do feel increased responsiveness when mixing V-Power with cleanboost.

It's sh!t. Per the MSDS 60-100% is Naphtha Petroleum (Aromatic Solvent).

In addition it's marketed for both Gas and Diesel and the have entirely opposite burn characteristics.

It's sh!t...or did I say that already?

No it's not a waste of money, I have JB4 and its the proof we have the worst ron92 and its cheated so it's barely 90. I put one or two pills depending on tank. took several logs in latest firmware sent to terry which has the +4 psi not 3 like jb.. I've told Terry about the fuel issue and his reply was "octane send ok for map 1"

Ignition on cylinder 1 and avg ign are pretty close, even the smell from exhaust since i have catless is way less. I can't say this will work with good fuel but it's incredible with low quality fuel. . it was even 90 fah. that day I'm trying to upload the log but don't know how here

Inbetween the factory oil changes, I want to extract a quart of old oil to make room for some oil additive with a oil extractor.

Is there anyway to extract oil from the top? Thanks!
