m235i Dinan springs installed

Here are some pics of my EB m235i lowered on Dinan springs and bumpstops. The ride and drop is as advertised, with the car feeling slightly more stiff, yet better overall. Still smooth and not harsh on bumps at all, along with less body roll and quicker recovery... Here are a few shots so you guys can get an idea.

Thank you guys. I am really glad I pulled the trigger with this setup. The ride is better than stock in my opinion, and I can still clear my driveway without a problem. Sry MrBimmer, I did everything the same day, so I dont have any pics of the oem wheels on this setup. We did the drop and wheels at the same time. They are 18's 8.5 in the front 9.5 in the rear.

Looks really good!! I ordered Dinan springs and bump stops about 2 months ago but they are just sitting in my garage. Been wanting to install them however due to reading other threads about struts, shocks and alignment tire issues made me hold off.

Either way thanks for sharing!

I think all this concern about springs might be not that big issue in comparing how many people are not having a problem with them, so just try it by yourself. I am waiting for my springs and after you will get them installed you can tell if it is bad or not.

Well in my own findings, I didn't find any real problems with the Dinan setup other than maybe someone not getting the proper ride height or experiencing a rough ride due to not installing the ride quality kit which Dinan does say is essential. Dinan themselves warranties this product, granted they must install it for this to be applied. However, since I'm guessing they don't have a magic way to make the product function better if they install it, and do offer a warranty, it should be fine. I trusted that if the springs and kit is all I need according to them, that everything should be fine. So far, everything is exactly as advertised.

Hey, I'm interested in the Dinan springs+ride quality kit, but I want to be sure I have their warranty. Did you take the assumption that your Dinan dealer will warranty it, even though you DIY'd the install?

I'm especially concerned because if I need to have the product installed at a Dinan dealer in order to keep the warranty, the labor hours listed on the product page on dinan's website says 7.8 labor hours to install these springs multiply that by the hourly labor rate of a Dinan dealer..

First1.. I sure wasn't paying 7 hours of labor for something that takes 2, so I had it done by the same person that installs everything on every car I've ever owned. From my findings, if something goes wrong and causes more damage, you will have problems with the suspension part of the warranty, not the entire car. 7 hours is just downright insulting. Just install them elsewhere.

Dinan will warranty as long as a professional shop installed, to change the subject again, WTF brand of tires are in your car?
