Would Michelin Super Sport tires or the A/S 3's help the steering feel on a 12 328i sport? I test drove one and really liked it other than the somewhat vague steering feel. Also seemed to drive like it was fighting wind on the highway when there was none. Thanks for any input.

I run square 245/40/18 Pilot A/S 3 non RFT. Steering, ride comfort and handling are noticeably improved over the stock RFT Pirelli P7's. Also look way better (squarer design and sidewall) over the P7's.

Thanks! That's what I was wanting to hear about. May still stick with a muscle car, but thank you.

Over the winter, I'll probably be picking up a set of square 245/40/18 tires as well. I'm tired of these stock rft's and want me some sticky Michelin PSS.

So dropping to a 40 series keeps the speedo close. I thought 225 wasn't much of a tire for a sporty sedan.

I run Michelin Pilot A/S3s on 245/40/19s, along with Dinan suspension and Apex Lightweight wheels.

The steering feel is still non-existent - I can't feel the road. I drive an E90 daily and the steering feel is noticeably different. However, the F30 has very accurate, precise, and quick steering without being way too heavy like the E90 (and BMWs of yore).

every time I hop into an E46 and E9x I definitely noticed the steering difference versus my F30. As you noted, I may loose the feel, but I turn the wheel and it goes where you want it, so in the end it works but I do miss the extra tactile sensation.
