Rotor upgrade
Hi guys. I have a 328 m sport. Are there direct replacements for my stock rotors to slotted/ dimpled.
Even better can I put larger rotors without the need to change my calipers. |

Nope i only tried replacing my 370mm discs and rear ones to Mperf which are slotted+dimpled
btw i have Msport blue brakes. it directly fits but the rotors are noisy. edit: noticed difference in brake fade and weight reduction like 3kg in both front axles

Did purchase rotors and pads from this company (Brake Performance) before (1st 335i), and intend to do the same again when my brake needs replacement.
Perfect fit, and no worry great quality replacements. Did try a local source this spring, and they got the order completely wrong. Since you're planning on an oversea order, you surely want it right the 1st time around.

No. I put the rotors on the balance and the difference is more or less 0,5kg, not more. It was a typo error in the documents: 3kg due only to slots and dimples are simply impossible to obtain, considering that rotors have the same dimensions (370mm front, 345mm rear) and are of the same material

The advantages of M performance rotors is brake fade, performance with rain and, most of all, improved bite and reactivity as you code the ECU to "sport brake" (SPBK option: not all dealers remembers or are aknowledged that they have to code after installing M Perf brakes ).

At that time, ordered the dimpled/slotted, with regular brake pads at that time (only regret, pads were very noisy and dusted even more than the previous BMW were). Next order due soon will be cross drilled/slotted with premium pads. Will keep you guys in touch.

I don't think I would order pads from them, would go with something like Cool Carbon instead, but the rotors look like a good option. |

Pads are usually included for free.
You can try them on, and if they don't work as you like, you get others. Then, when ready to sell the car, brand new pads !
