N26. HPFP issue at 10k miles?

hey guys so I have an 2015 428i GC N26. As i was driving on saturday, i tried to step on the gas and the car was not responding but kept going, it happened twice on my way home, it felt like it was a huge loss of power. I was at 1/4 of a tank, but for some odd reason when I turned on the car the gas gauge kept fluctuating.

yesterday in the morning when I turned on my car I got a powertrain malfunction and it asked me to drive moderately and to take it to a service center. now i'm just waiting for my bmw to diagnose it.

I read there was HPFP recall bulletin on this forum and one of the models on there was the 428i GC. People who have had HPFP, what were the symptoms you guys experienced when it occurred to you, could that be it?? my car only has 10k miles!

hoping it gets resolved soon

It was a recall for the LPFP, not HPFP.
