Of course. I have lived in Germany for 3 years and saw my first one when I was on the way to drop my car off to ship back to the states in Munich.

I am puzzled by intended target market of the i8.

Not as efficient as pure luxury electric car (Tesla)
More expensive than Tesla
Less satisfying to drive than cheaper sport cars(Porsche 911, BMW M6, Aston Martin V8...)
It looks strange.
