Need help on last part of Audio amp setup where do you hook up positive on battery?

I was just wondering where do I hook the positive up to for my amp on my battery on my E90 pre lci 2008 sedan 335xi? I know there is a hookup that is a no no so I want to make sure before I finalize my setup! Thanks

Also my ground I just connected to the battery I am assuming that is fine? I have seen some connect it to a ground on the car but I am unsure why they would do that when the battery is right there....

Safest is to put in directly on tightening screw at the battery lugs.

My VP electricity kit uses the tightening screws on the battery lugs .
You of course should have a fuse on your hot line. With ringed eyelet connectors.

Some people use the extra connectors on the block but they are fused
see above link. You need a factory connector for that.
Also not all cars come with the distribution fully populated with the fuse blades.
Be aware the ones that are already plugged in have a load on them and that includes the
corner one at 250 amps that is already screwed in and runs to the dash I believe.
See first link see page 6.

There is a stereo sub forum here.
