temp needle below 210

Been searching havent found a good answer yet. I can drive for 30 minutes and my car wont warm up to or near 210 its more like in the 180 or less range. Is this normal amd ok for my engine? I have the code p0128. Id rather it be that than it overheating but i want to play it safe. Thanks for input

Sounds like your thermostat is bad. Replace the waterpump too while it's getting replaced unless it was recently replaced.

He probably does. After all, we only have oil temp gauges. The code is for the thermostat however. It might be stuck open, though I don't know if it'd have that big of an affect on the oil temp.

its not the best thing in the world, but its not going to blow up your engine. You will get lower MPG, but that's about it besides the longer than usual coming up to temp. I drove mine for a couple months and was NBD.

I would avoid driving it hard though until you got everything fixed. You always want to make sure you are up to temp before going over 4k rpm
