2012 335i sedan m sport or just sport
New to the forum will most likely be looking into a 335i sedan either a 2011 or 2012 m sport. My question is; does the 2012 335i come in an m sport or just a sport package with the adjustable m suspension? I have seen a bunch 2012s with the sport package but did they only start doing the m sport again in 2013?
Thanks for all the help! |

Not sure if you were aware, but if you're comparing a 2011 vs a 2012 (or 2013), you are comparing an E90 with an F30. That being said, you can get an MSport model in all those years. I was actually shopping for an F30 335i MSport when I bought my car. They didn't have them in the showrooms, but they were going to order me one.

Exactly what I am looking for, I am only going to consider an m sport. What I'm thinking is maybe there just isn't any 2012 335 m sports in my area. I just think the e90s look the best IMHO. |

Yes, but 2012 sedan is an F30 not E90.

This is an example of what I am confused about. Would this one provided be considered an m sport or just sport?

Ok perfect thanks for the help! You answered exactly what I was trying to get information on. I will be looking for an e90 or e92 with all the information provided. The e9x is the best looking car they have made.

In that case, don't forget to look at the 335is. Better than a plain M sport package.

Yeah I agree...the f30 has an advantage in interior layout but the e90 has a much better look and steering. The 335is is a good version if you can find one--kind of depends then on whether you want sedan or coupe and if you can even find a 335is.

Probably a good place to mention that if you're not driving stick, the 335is is the only way you're going to get the DCT, short of getting an M3. And if you drive stick, the 335is has an M shifter with shorter throws than the standard 335i stick.

I ended up with the M-sport but was looking for the first manual I could find with a combination of other things. If you're looking for manuals I would recommend just getting whatever you find first that fits yours needs regardless of sport/M-sport, that's what I ended up doing.
If you're looking at autos you can be a lot more picky. Decision will be based on what wheels, front and rear bumpers, steering wheel, suspension you want between sport and M-sport but that will be your personal preference. I liked what the sport trim had to offer and would've went with that as well if other things I wanted had been there when I was looking. I'm only talking about E9n's here as I don't know too much about the 2012 F30s. |
