N54 walnut blast before and after! 60K miles (tuned for 6k)

Well I finally did my walnut blast I have been looking to do. Car has 60k on it I dont think it has ever been done. So far it seems to idle better and have more power in the upper rpm band which before died off quick after 5-5.5k. There was oil everywhere lol. Been thinking about a catch can but I just dont see how it can help this. Maybe I'll get a Meth kit as I could see that helping. The after pics are not the final pics just after the rough draft (1st pass and scrub with carb cleaner gun brush and blow out). Before is hard to see as the lighting was not good but you get the point was taken with a cell camera too. Had some issues with the walnut blaster and my custom wand.

Btw do not buy the intake adapter from Bav Auto as its made of very cheap plastic looks 3d printed and it broke VERY EASY on me I had to duct tape it to finish the job!

How long did it take you? What would you rate the difficulty?

Honestly, that looks like an ok job to me. Is this what a professional walnut cleaning does to a car that has never been cleaned? I guess what I'm trying to say is, while I'm impressed that you did this yourself, I thought I was going to see nice and shiny ports.

These pics were not the final this was done after the rough draft after that it was getting tiring working in a 90 degree garage so I stopped taking pics lol. Plus the stupid plastic 3d printed adapter broke

Thats rough news about that adapter, I was looking into buying one. Its half the price of a metal one but having it break mid job...not good. Were you tough on it?
