Intercooler/m3 replica bumper question
Ok guys so i did actually search this up and replied in the threads i search with no real answer, i have a 07 e90 335i and im looking to do the m3 replica front conversion, now i read from just searches that there are better intercoolers to get as far as fitment and compatibility, now most of these are speculations it seem as i havent really cam across anyone that posted pics and explain what had to be done. So i pose the question. What is the best intercooler as far as fitment goes for the m3 replica bumper, and what did you have to do to make it fit.. Pics are most def appreciated. Thank you

I dont think the IC cares what front bumper you have, in fact the M3 bumper allows for better airflow into the IC.

Not really, they're all more or less the same size and shape (if you're comparing a 5" to another 5", or 7" to another 7"). The only major differences in shape are what kind of end tank connections they have. Most use the silicon tubes and I think only 1 or 2 have the stock c clamp quick connects.

Here is what my setup looks like. It's a VRSF 7" FMIC and M3 replica front bumper. You have to cut the shroud out in order to fit the 7", plus I think the 7" looks really good with this bumper. Then you have to remove the brake ducts because the fog lights will not fit with them. Hope this helps!
